An accomplished senior manager with 30 years of experience in the public / humanitarian sector delivering operational programme management for strategic initiatives. I am practiced in deployment of personnel, HR, office management, managing budgets, client management, stakeholder engagement and field office establishment.

I have extensive knowledge of developing and managing personnel databases, programme finance, commercial relationships, policy and security. I also have experience in post-conflict and insecure environments and have worked on initiatives worldwide, deploying overseas to Afghanistan, Croatia, Dubai, Montserrat, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Turkey. I have worked for central Government departments, local authorities and private companies. My recent project work relates to topics as diverse as the Covid-19 response, Illicit Finance, Counter Terrorism, Cyber security, Climate Change and Brexit related import controls.

I enjoy working in strong team environments and communicate confidently and effectively with stakeholders and employees at all levels. I apply strong strategic management and organisational skills, and comfortably handle high-pressure work environments adhering to strict deadlines. These qualities, combined with my motivational leadership style and ability to learn and adapt quickly to deliver results in changing situations, make me an asset to any organisation.

I am looking to find my next challenge which ideally will be a senior-level programme management role where I can continue to make a strategic contribution towards the success of humanitarian initiatives in the UK or abroad. I am also very open to approaches in other sectors where my skills can be effectively utilised. I have current government SC security clearance, am Hostile Environment Security Trained (HEST), and hold Prince2 practitioner, AgilePM practitioner, and Scrum Master certifications.
